When and were do we meet?

Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the World War Memorial building in downtown Indianapolis at Meridian and Michigan Streets. Click here for directions.

What do we do at our meetings?

We talk about what caves we’ve been to and what future expeditions we are planning We discuss club business and  a brief break, and some form of cave related program. Our programs vary from guest speakers to slide programs on caves and caving.

Do I need to be a member to come to the meetings?

No, we welcome visitors. You may come to meetings as often as you wish.

How do I become a member of the CIG?

To become a member, click here to download an application form then fill it out. Come to the next meeting and hand the form to any grotto officer. Our dues are $15 per year prorated to expire December 31. For more information, click here.

Do I need to be a member to go on a cave trip?

No, we encourage potential members to join us on a one or more cave trips to make sure they enjoy caving.
