Indiana Cave Capers is the annual caving event sponsored by the Central Indiana Grotto. It is a weekend of fun, fellowship, camping out and of course…caving. This is an event geared for cavers of all skill levels and a great place to meet other cavers and make connections. There are many volunteer led cave trips scheduled and opportunities to lead your own.
The weekend begins when Registration opens at noon on Thursday. Then go caving! Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is all the caving you can handle. Friday night features our Howdy Party with live music from Muchos Garcias, a band of Cavers. Saturday night New Albany’s Fistful of Tacos will lay out a delicious spread, followed by our program of awards, door prizes and a special presentation by Rand Heaslitt on The Fern Cave Project. Then more live music from The Bourbon Britches featuring Arianna Barton and Anna Blanton. This all girl country-rock band will raise the roof.
